On May 20 and 21, St. John the Evangelist School in Attleboro put on the 10th annual Cabaret production.
This year, the cast of 59 students performed Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. This musical, designed for middle-school aged performers, is based on the 1994 Broadway production and Disney’s 1991 animated feature film.
The students were led by Director Holly Arenas and Music Director Susan Fortin. Over 35 volunteers, ranging from costume coordinators to actual band to stage crew, helped make the show possible.
Guests were treated to coffee and pastries as they enjoyed the show. Pictured here are Bella Simoneau as Belle, Ryan Sullivan as Cogsworth, Seamus Sutula as the Beast/Prince, Olivia Grivers (hidden) as Madame de La Grande Bouche, Zachary Castro as Lumiere, Katherine Quinn as Mrs. Potts, Sophia Castro as Chip and Daylin Melcher as Babette.
