Grants Support High Quality Art Programming in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET ??? The City of Pawtucket is proud to announce the availability of project-based arts grants to support and expand cultural activities within the City. Grant funds are available to local artists and nonprofit organizations that are dedicated to community enrichment. These grants help to ensure that artistic performances, exhibitions, workshops, and special events are made available to a diverse range of Pawtucket residents and visitors.?? The Arts Review Panel requests that all applicants align their proposed project with the Annual Pawtucket Arts Festival scheduled for September 8???23, 2018. Applicants are also encouraged to highlight how their project or performance will enhance the festival as an inclusionary celebration of the culture of Pawtucket.

Applicants must submit their applications by April 9th, 2018.?? Grant awards of up to $1,000 are determined by the Pawtucket Arts Review Panel based on established criteria, including the project???s artistic merit, potential for cultural and community connections, and the project???s clarity and achievability.??Emphasis is also placed on projects that are available at low or no cost to Pawtucket residents.??Successful applicants are reimbursed upon the completion of the project.????????????????????????????????????
