WOMR Celebrates its 36th Birthday with A Party and Silent Auction??
Celebration takes place at the Eastham Elk Lodge on March 10th.
Provincetown, MA, March 5, 2018: On Sunday, March 10th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, WOMR/WFMR, Cape Cod???s community radio, will present a joint Birthday Party and Silent Auction at the Elks Lodge across from the Sheraton/Four Points in Eastham.??
Local favorite Funktapuss will be the featured band, a six-piece groove band that churns out smooth, sweaty New England style funk. Popping bass lines and hot guitar drive the bopping rhythm section, the backdrop to the band???s smooth vocals. With funky keyboards and saxophone added to the mix, Funktapuss keeps the crowds smiling and feet on the dance floor.
Merchandise donated from area merchants will be featured in their silent auction including Atlantic Spice, Sweet & Savory and The Payomet Performing Arts Center in Truro, the Rock Harbor Grille, the Hot Chocolate Sparrow and Fitness Revolution in Orleans, Arnold???s and Willy???s Gym in Eastham, and the Monument & Museum and the Stop & Shop in Provincetown.
General admission is $15, but it???s free when signing up for any level of WOMR membership. Children under twelve get in for free.

Food will be provided by The Fairway and Red Barn restaurants, both in Eastham. There will be a cash bar and raffles.??
