Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, December 13, 2017.

Live music, local artists, food and raffles kicked off the opening of this new local business.??After five years of serving premium loose-leaf tea and gourmet cr??pes to the community surrounding Cranston???s quaint Pawtuxet Village, the sophisticated yet casual Schaste?? is spreading its magic to Providence???s hip west end.

What was first imagined as a place that slowed things down and took its time, has evolved into an exotic escape just around the corner. Time is what you will savor at the new SCHASTE??.

SCHASTE?? (shass-tee-ah) is happiness; an experience of lighthearted contentment or joy. It was created out of a desire to highlight the small things that often get overlooked. ???By shifting focus and experiencing our surroundings with intent, we will discover a reality of pleasure that exists within our being no matter where we find ourselves???, says Co-Founder Tony Lopez.

This concept is perfectly illustrated by Schaste?????s tea-ritual that encourages guests to be present in the moment.

Upon deciding from an expansive tea list, your elixir of choice is presented inside a clear glass pot and served with a timer, inviting guests to partake in a mindful exercise as they wait 3 minutes for their tea to steep – good things take time.

Serving primarily as a minimalist-style tearoom and cr??perie, Schaste?? offers a growing list of over 50 premium looseleaf teas meticulously sourced from all corners of the globe.

Each unique tea has distinct health benefits and all are available for purchase in bulk for your enjoyment at home.

Schaste?????s gourmet cr??pe menu draws inspiration from many cultural cuisines and consists of sweet and savory options that satisfy breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert appetites.

Schaste?? also makes its own tea-flavored ice-cream and tea-infused baked goods, as well as providing non-cr??pe options that include breakfast sandwiches, salads, daily soup specials, French press coffee and other specialty drinks.

As the entire menu is made to order, any cr??pe can easily be made gluten-free or vegan.
