When I was 12, my mom took me to PPAC to see The??Nutcracker. I remember it??fondly, the glistening costumes, the breathtaking sets, and most of all, the brilliant energy pouring out of the dancers into the audience. I knew immediately I wanted to be on that stage and I knew that??Festival Ballet would get me there.
Festival Ballet helped me discover my dream.
Coming back to choreograph for the Company earlier this season has been a dream come true.??It is wonderful to work with the dancers now and see??how Misha???s??vision for the company has grown. It feels like the same family of dedicated artists??that??helped me discover my dream all of those years ago.??
