HONORING OUR VETERANS
Saint John the Evangelist School in Attleboro recently held a Veteran’s Day program.
The students sang various patriotic songs, recited the Gettysburg Address, performed a song in sign language and wrote personal letters thanking the veterans.
Students also collected canned goods and personal items to send care packages to the service men and women in Afghanistan.
Students were asked to write down names of veterans in their family and then randomly selected??a name of one of the??veterans and will pray for that person during the remainder of November as a thank you for their service to our country.
