The Women???s Golf Association of Highland Country Club celebrated Labor Day with a fundraiser to benefit Community VNA Hospice Care. The tournament, which has been held annually for the past 11 years, took place at the Highland Country Club.

???We chose to support Community VNA Hospice Care in recognition of the incredible care and support Hospice has provided to so many of our families and friends over the years,??? said Nancy Lee Monroe, tournament co-chair.

Before hitting the course, golfers were able to participate in a Beat the Aspiring Pro Contest and a 50/50 putting contest. These challenges, along with fundraising events held by the Falls AC Golf League, and a post event raffle and silent auction, resulted in the tournament raising more than $9,000 for Community VNA Hospice.

??? We are honored to once again be the beneficiary of the Women???s Golf Association of Highland Country Club FORE Hospice Golf Tournament,??? said Kathy Trier, Community VNA Executive

Director & CEO. ???This generous donation allows us to continue our promise of providing comfort and peace to every hospice patient who needs us.???

??? We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this tournament a success,??? said Toni Wallace, tournament co-chair. ???We would especially like to thank everyone who generously donated items for our raffle and silent auctions, as well as the members who golfed and were so generous with their time and financial contributions.???
