JUNE 21 6:30PM
The Ten Mile River Watershed Council and Blackstone Valley Heritage Corridor will be celebrating the Summer Solstice with a Hike, Bike and Party at the Beach.
We will be meeting at Doreen Tomlinson Field on Daggett Avenue in Pawtucket on June 21, at 6:30 PM to explore the Ten Mile River Reservation.
Come hike to areas off of the bike path, including an old mill site, or bring your bike and pedal the entire Greenway.
After, both groups will meet at a sandy area known as the beach to hear about the Ten Mile River’s role in the industrial revolution and the Blackstone Valley.
Bring water and sturdy shoes for hikers and a helmet for bikers.
This event is free.
