ATTLEBORO PUBLIC LIBRARY

Go “Trick or Reading” at the APL!

By Joseph Morra

 Children’sEventsHolidaysReadingUncategorized

Halloween is approaching, and the APL is hosting its annual “Trick or Reading” book giveaway! As with all events at the Library, our goal is to share the love of books, and Trick or Reading is a fun way to encourage kids to read during the “spookiest” month of the year.

Children from birth through 8th grade may visit the library on any or all of these three dates and select a book of their choice to take home and enjoy:

Thursday, October 31 (Halloween!), 1-8pm

There will be board books, young readers, chapter books, nonfiction, and everything in between. Kids will enjoy being able to make their own book choices, and adults will likely enjoy that their children are not getting more candy!

The APL staff encourages you to wear your costume when you visit on Halloween. In fact, some of us may be in costume, too!
