LEARNING TO MAKE GOOD DECISIONS

The fifth graders at St. John the Evangelist School in Attleboro recently graduated from the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program. D.A.R.E. Officer and St. John’s School Alumni, Joseph Daday, facilitated the weekly sessions and the graduation.

Mayor Kevin Dumas, members of the Attleboro Police Department and Honor Guard, Attleboro Rotary Club, Elks Lodge #1014, and South Attleboro Lions Club, along with City Councilor President Frank Cook, City Councilors Julie Hall and Kate Jackson, YMCA Youth Specialist Ed Poirier joined parents and students for the ceremony.

Six students received recognition for their written essays.

For lunch, the students enjoyed a pizza and ice cream party, compliments of the Rotary Club.
