Clean Water Action Announces Candidate Endorsements for the 2024 Election
PROVIDENCE: Clean Water Action Rhode Island announced their list of 2024 endorsees for the 2024 election this week. Highlighting the list are 3 endorsements in competitive primary races: Giona Picheco – State House District 14, Kelsey Coletta – State House District 42, and Cherie Cruz – State House District 58. “We are excited to announce such a long list of candidates deserving of Clean Water Action’s endorsement. The 2024 legislative session was capped with the passage of a comprehensive ban on toxic PFAS, a massive win for our drinking water and public health, and Rhode Island continues to be a national environmental leader thanks to the efforts of our deep bench of elected environmental champions statewide,” said Emily Howe, Clean Water Action’s Interim RI State Director. “We thank every candidate who filled out our comprehensive candidate questionnaire.”
