The new Sustainability Commission is up-and-running. I want to thank you for any influence you had to make the commission a reality. We are now working on projects that will make Attleboro Sustainable by Design. For more information on the commission, check out: Sustainability Commission.
The commission ordinance allows for nine volunteer resident members. We currently have eight members and are looking to fill the ninth seat. I’m reaching out to you hoping you can suggest a person that might be interested in the ninth seat…you, a friend, a member of your group?
The background and experience of current commission members is wide ranging. But all members have one thing in common: a passion for environmental sustainability. If you know someone with this passion, please do reach out to me. I would be happy to discuss the commission, the goals, the role of members.
