Mayor’s Community Board Welcomes New Members and Announces New Leadership
MAYOR GREBIEN
PAWTUCKET – The Mayor’s Community Board (MCB) of Pawtucket is proud to announce the addition of new members and the election of new leadership. The MCB serves as a vital link between the City’s residents and the Mayor’s administration, advocating for community needs and fostering positive change.
The newly appointed members of the Mayor’s Community Board are:
• Mike Bettencourt
• Mary Ellen Minton
• Eliana Lopez
• Sara Koslosky
• Amilcar Lopes
• Mario Zuluaga
• Jenny Bautista-Ravreby
• Johnathan DeJesus
Leading the Mayor’s Community Board is newly appointed Chair Stephen Larbi, who has previously served on the MCB and brings both his bilingual skills and extensive history of community involvement to the role. Additionally, Kinnan Dowie and Quinn Bryan have been elected as Vice Chair and Secretary, respectively.
“I am thrilled to welcome all of the new members to the board and am delighted to gain their perspectives,” said Mayor Donald R. Grebien. “I am extremely appreciative of Chair Larbi, for stepping up and taking the role as Chair. I know with his past experience and leadership, he is more than qualified to handle this position.“
These community leaders bring a wealth of experience and perspective to the board, representing various racial and ethnic backgrounds within the Pawtucket community.
The Mayor’s Community Board, in collaboration with the Chief Equity Officer, Charles “Chachi” Carvalho, will focus on identifying areas of priority, potential concerns, community strengths, and opportunities within Pawtucket. The board will work collectively to develop engagement strategies aimed at enhancing the quality of life and overall well-being of all citizens.

About the Mayor’s Community Board:
The Mayor’s Community Board (MCB) is a group of resident volunteers and community leaders from varying racial and ethnic backgrounds who serve as a representative voice of the community in support of the Mayor and his administration. The MCB shall work with the Chief Equity Officer to identify areas of priority, potential concerns, community strengths, and opportunities in and for our city. Collectively, they will discuss and present recommended engagement strategies to advance the quality of life and the overall health and well-being of all citizens. The MCB shall serve solely in an advisory capacity, coordinate matters, and accomplish any necessary work with the Chief Equity Officer.
