Write in Bea Reardon on Republican primary ballot.
Dear Rockport friends
I am writing to ask you to Write IN “Bea Reardon, 9 Ridgewood Road” for Rockport Republican Town Committee on Tuesday, March 5th.
If you have not early voted yet, there is still a chance. Polls open on Tuesday at 7am and close at 8pm. Find your voting location by going to Voter Resources (jonathanring.org) and clicking on the tab below “where do I vote”.
If you are voting in the Republican presidential primary, you will notice four Party elections to vote in (see attached sample ballot):
Presidential Preference
State Committee Man
State Committee Woman
Town Committee.
We made a mistake on our nomination form and did not get Bea’s name on the ballot for Town Committee; however, Bea Reardon has been an outstanding member of the Rockport Republican Town Committee for the past few years.
She has acted as meeting secretary for the past few years until we could find someone to fill that role, she has coordinated our Outreach Sub-committee and, thru her organizing meet up groups and welcome coffee events, brought new people to our meetings, she served as a Delegate to the Massachusetts GOP Convention, she has lead our Election Integrity efforts to get Republicans to fill Election Worker roles including volunteering as an election worker herself, and she has assisted Republican candidates (including me) that have run for office.
So, I would ask you to do two things: You can vote for the entire Town Committee slate by filling the first oval, and below, in the write in space below the slate, you can write in “Bea Reardon, 9 Ridgewood Road” and then fill in the oval next to her name and address. With your write in vote, Bea will become an elected member of the Rockport Republican Town Committee. She just needs 5 write in votes, but I think she deserves much more.
