CENTENARY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
Friday, April 21, 2017
In our world, there are so many unkind things in the news. Let???s teach our children that they can make a positive impact on kindness right here in their own community.
On Friday, April 21, 2017 youth will be gathering at Centenary United
Methodist Church for the 30 Hour Famine. As part of the mission work during that 30 Hours, Centenary youth will ???kick off??? the Kindness Rocks Project.
From 2:00-4:00pm, young people will paint rocks which display messages of hope. Once dry, they will place them throughout Attleboro for unsuspecting children and adults to discover.
When you find a rock, you may hide it in another location for someone else to find, or you can take one if you need it, share one with a friend, or leave one that you have made yourself.
Goals of the project are:
Inspire others
Recruit every person who stumbles upon a rock to join in the pursuit of inspiring others through small acts of kindness
Centenary is inviting middle and high school youth, who want to help paint rocks, to join in the fun.
All supplies will be provided.
We hope you will want to help.
Kindness is free. Let???s pass it on.
