Our Featured Artist for November is Barbara Edlund Healy
Barbara Healy’s paintings are inspired by the diverse colors of light in the beautiful coastal landscape where she lives. She frequently paints plein air, using all her senses to share her vision. Paintings capture that feeling of peace and joy that comes from nature. She looks for what is unique to convey a sense of place. Although often evoked by a fleeting moment, she translates in paint to transcend time. Brushstrokes over glimpses of color intentionally reveal some of the painting process and layering enables her to create luminous color.
Although she loves oil paints on canvas, she is always experimenting. A Connecticut native, Barbara fell in love with the South Coast, and her husband Shaun, while getting her BFA at UMASS Dartmouth and stayed. Her studio in Dartmouth, MA has been on the South Coast Artists Open Studio Tour for 14 years.

Come experience our farm coast that inspires our artists!
Fall is a wonderful time to visit Tiverton and Four Corners Gallery. We have farmstands brimming with seasonal produce and local shops. Stone walls line our country roads with scenic views of farm fields, shorelines, and historic buildings.
We are opening earlier on Saturdays at 9:30am – stop in after getting coffee or before a walk on the beach.
Sunday 11-4, Tuesday – Friday 11 – 4 and Saturday 9:30 – 5.
Open fall Mondays by chance.
