RIDE – TOUCHDOWN ON ATTENDANCE

#Cool2BeInSchoolRI Touchdown on Attendance

Excellent attendance is the goal across Rhode Island! Recently, the Slater Family Foundation and several New England Patriots players joined students, faculty and staff at the Sgt. Cornel Young, Jr. & Charlotte Woods Elementary School to talk about the importance of coming to school every day. Students were thrilled to hear their motivational advice! Check out the highlights here.

Attendance is crucial to being successful in school. Being involved and present every day better prepares students for success in college and career. Attendance is an issue that the entire state needs to focus on as evidenced by a recent study from Brown University. It is imperative that we motivate #OurKids to be in class day by day to set them up for a successful academic and workforce career. We are just one month into the school year, so let’s make sure all students are #Back2SchoolRI!

To keep track of your school’s attendance, check out RIDE’s attendance leaderboard, and don’t forget about our attendance calendar!
