CLEAN THE RAVINE
Good Afternoon,
On August 20, 2023 Friends of the Ten Mile River Watershed will be holding our second Clean the Ravine event. We will meet at the south side of the Best Buy parking lot in North Attleboro lot at 8:00 AM.
We will be conducting a cleanup of Red Rock Brook and Ravine. This is a natural waterfall that survived the construction of the Route 1 retail stores in the 90s and is a very environmentally fragile and unique area to our watershed.
Getting into the ravine requires a walk down a steep hill with no trail and stepping over a guardrail.
You can also clean along the edge of the woodland if you would rather not go into the ravine. Long pants and sleeves are recommended. Trash Bags will be provided. Please bring gloves. We hope you will join us.
