ALEXUS LEE

Linden Place welcomes jazz singer and musician, Alexus Lee, and her band, for an afternoon performance in the Linden Place gardens on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 2 PM.

Linden Place Mansion will host an outdoor concert in the blooming rose gardens with celebrated local jazz singer and musician, Alexus Lee, and her band, on Sunday, June 4th at 2pm. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs and picnics and settle in for an afternoon of great music in a beautiful setting. In the case of rain, the concert will take place in the historic ballroom.

Lee dazzles audiences with soulful storytelling and masterful vocals.

Born in Providence Rhode Island to a musical family, Lee expressed early aspirations for a career in music. Her journey began with piano, violin, and voice and after graduating from Berklee College of Music, one year early, Alexus proved ready to take on the world.

Alexus’s 4 octave range, skillful ability for storytelling, and commanding stage presence have carried her to countless cities, states, and countries around the world.

She’s shared stages with world class talents such as Mac Ayres, and has been featured in numerous online and print publications; recently being nominated for a Rhode Island Music Award for “Best Vocalist” of 2022.

“Music has always been a form of therapy for me.” Says Lee. “It has been my confidant in the best of times and the worst of times. I write to heal and in turn, strive to create a space of healing for others wherever I perform.”

Lee and her band will be performing Lee’s original music, some of which has been released and selections of new music from her upcoming EP, set to release in September 2023.
