Grants Available for Pawtucket Arts Organizations

PAWTUCKET ??? The Department of Planning and Redevelopment has announced that grant applications are now available for organizational support funding for Pawtucket-based Non-Profit Arts Organizations.

???Our artist community brings such value to our City,??? said Mayor Donald R. Grebien. ???These grants will provide more access to performances and exhibitions around the City.???

The funding for the organizational support grants will be open to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that are headquartered in Pawtucket and provide year-round public arts programming. Programming may include performances, art exhibitions, music and other ongoing art activities at a Pawtucket venue.

Applications, due on April 3, 2017, are available on the City???s website http://www.pawtucketri.com/arts?? and at the Planning & Redevelopment Office (City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue).
