ART LEAGUE RI is proud to present a new call for entry

Art Speaks

 

An Open Juried National Exhibition

 

This exhibition celebrates works of art that compose, hold, share, and tell a story. Make your story heard, give your art voice. The selected works will be on display at the Art League RI Gallery and prizes will be awarded to the creators of the top three pieces.

 

Members of Art League RI are eligible for a $15 discount on the entry fee by emailing office@artleagueri.org.

JUROR: David Allyn

 

Allyn received his MFA from RISD and attended undergraduate studies in Wisconsin, the state of his origin.

 

Upon completion of his graduate studies in 2003, Allyn founded the community clay program at The Steel Yard, an arts education non-profit based in Providence Rhode Island, now in its 19th year.

 

Allyn has been awarded a McKnight Fellowship and been chosen as a Rhode Island State Council of The Arts Fellow.

 

His work has been included in several museum permanent collections, including the Newport Art Museum, and the Museum of Art at Rhode Island School of Design. Allyn currently maintains his studio practice at Nicholson File Art Studios in Providence, Rhode Island.
