RISCPA/RI Business Forum Announces First Ever Industry Legends Awards Ceremony and Annual Recognition Reception
Rhode Island Society of CPAs/RI Business Forum announced they will host their 2023 Annual Recognition Reception on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Crowne Plaza, Warwick, RI. The event will feature the Society’s inaugural Industry Legends Awards Ceremony and recognize newly certified CPAs and other dignitaries. Tickets for the event and reception went on sale this week – this will be a complete sell out.

The first-ever Industry Legend Awards, will be presented to John (Jack) Renza, CCRI, Ernie Almonte, RI League of Cities & Towns, William (Bill) Pirolli, (Retired) DiSanto Priest & Co., and Alan Litwin, KLR
“The decision to honor these four luminaries who are accomplished, celebrated and recognized across Rhode Island was unanimous,” said Melissa Travis, President/CEO, RISCPA/RI Business Forum. “Each has created a legacy guiding RISCPA and the profession through unprecedented periods of change with integrity and passion for helping others.
Their leadership has had a profound impact on everything from business success to career paths – and all revered by industry, business and state leaders, including me.”
The award winners are receiving the prestigious honor for the outstanding contributions they have made to higher education, strengthening the profession and improving the state’s business climate.
Members will also be invited to attend the Annual Meeting which will be held virtually at noon – a link to the meeting will be available on the Society’s webpage or sent via registration; there is no cost to attend the member meeting online.
