FRIENDS OF THE TEN MILE WATERSHED
Friends of the Ten Mile River Watershed would like to invite you to a First Day Hike to kick off 2023.
We will be hiking for 3.5 miles on the first day of the year at the top of the Ten Mile River Watershed.
We will meet at 11:00 AM at World War 1 Park in North Attleboro at the Petie Field parking area located in the rear of the park.
From there, we will hike the trails that travel along the highest points that drain into the Ten Mile River, taking in views as far away as Fall River in one direction and Newton Upper Falls in another.
Even if you have been to the park, this moderate hike is sure to show you areas that you have not seen.
Please dress for the weather.
In the event that we have extreme weather conditions, and we will need to cancel/reschedule, an email will be sent out the morning of the hike.
