Swearing-in and Inaugural Celebration – January 2, 2023
Dear Neighbors and Friends
I want to take this moment to thank each and every one of you for placing your trust in me as your next mayor. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for your support along the way.
I’m reaching out to invite you to our inauguration festivities and the official swearing-in ceremony which will take place on Monday, January 2, 2023.
Our official swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Providence Public Library with doors opening at 1PM, and the ceremony starting at 2PM. Immediately following the ceremony, we will walk to Providence City Hall for an open house and reception.
Later that evening, we will be hosting a celebration at the WaterFire Arts Center at 475 Valley Street, at 7PM.
The celebration will showcase the amazing creative and culinary scene in Providence along with a mix of live entertainment. All are welcome but you must RSVP for this fantastic event.
I ran for Mayor because I love Providence. We have so much to be proud of, but more importantly we have so much to look forward to. Jim and I hope that we see you on January 2, as we embark on a new journey together and celebrate what is to come.
