Help Clean Up the Ten Mile River on September 24
The City of Attleboro will hold its 16th Annual River Clean-Up on Saturday, September 24th, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
The clean-up is held rain or shine.
Volunteers from Attleboro and surrounding towns are needed for a fun morning of river clean-up and trash collecting along the Ten Mile Riverbanks and walking trails.
Sign-up will be at the tent located at the Community Garden on Riverbank Road, Attleboro.
The GPS address is 37 Hayward Street, Attleboro.
Families and children are welcome to collect trash along the river walkways.
Free refreshments will be supplied by Dunkin’.
Some clean-up supplies will be provided although anyone wanting to be a “River Rat” should bring their own waders or wetsuit.
Local sponsors are Mayor Paul Heroux, Conservation Commission, Dunkin’, Attleboro Land Trust, and Friends of the Ten Mile River.
