The Caribbean Soul Duo to perform at the Weaver Library??
Need an escape from winter? Weaver Library is thrilled to announce that The Caribbean Soul Duo – steel pan artist and vocalist Becky Bass and pianist Jhony Keys – will bring their hot sound to the library on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 7pm.
Hailing from St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, Becky Bass comes from a long line of Caribbean musical artists. Becky???s father introduced her to the steel pan at the age of two. Ten years of classical piano, voice coaching, and numerous performances in musical theatre while attending Brown University speaks to Becky???s talent and deep love of music.
Jhony Keys is one of the most sought after multi-keyboardist, producers and instructors in the New England. Starting at the age of nine Jhony was first trained classically then quickly moved into church and popular music. On faculty at the Berklee School of Music, Keys??? talent shines in many musical styles.
