Autumn in the Trees at The Adventure Park Makes the Perfect Fall Outing
Storrs-Mansfield Adventure Park Offers Outdoor Fun for All Ages
Storrs, CT – September 6, 2022 – The Adventure Park at Storrs, the area’s best zipline and climbing adventure experience, announces their schedule of autumn-themed events for 2022.
“Fall is a wonderful time to visit The Adventure Park,” said Jesse Pasacreta, Park Manager.” The leaves are changing, and the air is crisp… there’s no better way to experience the feeling of autumn in Connecticut.”
The Adventure Park at Storrs will offer Glow in the Park, its signature nighttime event, on Fridays and Saturdays through November 5, 2022. Glow in the Park is a unique way to experience the Park with ziplining and climbing through an illuminated forest to high energy music.
Each Glow in the Park event has a unique theme, from 70s, 80s and 90s to Country, Top 40 and Movie Themes. In October, the Park will offer the following schedule of autumn-themed events:
Friday 10/7 and Saturday 10/8: Fall Festival
Friday 10/14 and Saturday 10/15: Halloween
Friday 10/21 and Saturday 10/22: Halloween
Friday 10/28: Haunted Halloween, recommended for ages 12+
Saturday 10/29: Halloween
“Whether you join us for Glow in the Park, or come for a daytime adventure,” said Mr. Pasacreta, “you’ll be sure to enjoy the birds-eye view of the leaves changing.”

Participants may choose day or evening timeslots.
About The Adventure Park at Storrs
The 9 trails at The Adventure Park consist of various challenges in the trees, including bridges, tightropes, ladders, and 28 ziplines. Participants wear harnesses with clips that connect to the trail’s safety system, ensuring that they are always locked on to the course until they reach the end.
The main trails are designed for ages 7 to adult, and an Adventure Playground provides a low-to-the-ground adventure experience for little climbers ages 3-6.
The Adventure Park at Storrs also offers 3 lanes of outdoor axe throwing and is the area’s only outdoor axe throwing venue.
Non-climbing participants are admitted free of charge to share the experience on the ground and enjoy the property’s nature trails, picnic tables and community firepit.
The Adventure Park at Storrs is open to the general public and is located minutes from the UConn Campus.
