Lincoln High School Recognized as a US Green Ribbon School
The United States Department of Education celebrated Earth Day this year by announcing the 2022 slate of US Green Ribbon Schools.
The Green Ribbon award denotes schools that have gone above and beyond in practicing environmental sustainability and protecting the health and well-being of their communities. This year, our very own Lincoln High School was recognized as a Green Ribbon school!
Congratulations to the LHS community on earning this prestigious honor. We’re deeply proud of their work, which is a shining example of Rhode Island’s commitment to creating world-class facilities for our students and staff.
RIDE and the School Building Authority are looking forward to working with local school leaders to improve our school facilities so that every Rhode Island student thrives in a 21st century space that is conducive to learning.
