SAINT JOHN’S SCHOOL ATTLEBORO
Shown here with their ornaments are eighth graders Casey Lydon, Tatiana Troy, Seamus Sutula, Ryan Sullivan, Lincoln Schneider and Josh Lancaster (seated).
As part of this year’s Hour of Code activities in Science class, the 7th and 8th graders at St. John the Evangelist School in Attleboro were given an introduction to a 3D modeling program using the new DaVinci 3-D printer.??
According to science teacher Kelly Schremp, “the program gives the students the ability to use preexisting surfaces to build 3D objects. For instance, some students used different size spheres to build a snowman, some built Christmas trees and igloos.??
