I hope this message finds you looking forward to all that 2022 has to offer. While TYT was able to make some gradual returns to “normal” this past year, this pesky virus certainly keeps us on our toes.
As we turn the page, I do want to take a moment to thank the TYT staff members that helped make 2021 as successful as possible. Eric, Patrick and Jessica worked tirelessly to ensure all of our actors could benefit from a “typical” TYT experience, (even though the circumstances were far from typical) and together we produced 5 wonderful shows with our actors.
Special shout outs to Noah Strunin for his work filming and editing our summer and fall productions, and to Austin Genannt whose expertise and insights enrich and enhance the final product seen by our audiences.
NOW … we’re proud to announce our Winter 2022 programs! Our actors in Gr. 3-8 will learn and perform “Honk!, Jr.” (a TYT favorite!), and our high school actors will participate in our first ever student directed production of one act comedy plays. Information about auditions, rehearsal schedules, performance dates and vaccine requirements is posted on our website.
If you know any families who might be interested in our programs, send them in our direction!
Registration through FamilyID is now open. As of writing, we are planning on starting our productions on January 10th, but if case counts continue to rise we will push back our start date accordingly.
