Take a Sneak Peek Into Woonsocket???s Historic Homes This Holiday Season

(WOONSOCKET, R.I.) ??? The Museum of Work & Culture will lead a Holiday Historic House Tour of Woonsocket’s North End on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 2pm. All ticket sales will benefit the development of Woonsocket Works, a new interactive digital exhibit.
Participants will tour four historic homes in Woonsocket???s North End while learning about their history and architecture from the owners, and will have the opportunity to partake in drinks and appetizers at each home and singing carols as they walk from house to house.
Guests may also join guides and hosts for a traditional French Canadian holiday meal at River Falls following the tour. The menu will include pea soup, meat pie, carved roasted turkey with gravy, honey tarragon carrots, cranberry sauce, brown bread, & a maple dessert.
Tickets for the house tour only are $40. Tickets for the house tour and holiday dinner are $65. Tickets are available at the MoWC or online at http://www.shopmowc.com/. The meeting place for the start of the tour will be shared after upon purchase.
