Week Two of Rhode Island Heritage Month’s Virtual Celebration Premieres Tomorrow!
On Saturday, September 11th at 7 pm RIHPHC premieres week two of RI Heritage Month’s Virtual Celebration on YouTube ! This family-friendly virtual event invites you to hear the sounds and feel the rhythms from different cultures.
We will feature the phenomenal Odaiko New England Japanese drummers, share a beautifully illustrated story created by Silvermoon Mars LaRose, and teach you a Dance BFF Bollywood dance routine!

Join us EVERY Saturday in September on our YouTube channel for another 60-minute virtual celebration of “Heritage Highlights” from different cultural performance groups, heritage organizations, and hands-on activities like cooking and dance demonstrations.
Next week, on Saturday, September 18th, we will feature a spectacular ASL performance by students from the RI School for the Deaf, learn about the St. Andrew’s Society of RI, meditate, and cook bratwurst!
