SAINT JOHN’S SCHOOL

CANDY FOR OUR VETERANS

e-sje-candyfortroops-1

The students at St. John the Evangelist School in Attleboro brought in almost 120lbs of Halloween candy. The fifth grade class, led by Sister Mary Dumond, collected and packed 15 boxes of candy and made 100 “thank you” cards which they placed inside the boxes.

They mailed the boxes out to a one veteran home in each of the New England states as part of Operation Stars and Stripes.

Shown here are the fifth graders with the boxes of candy.
