Homecoming 2021 Registration Now Open!
Homecoming is going to be epic! We are jamming two years of fun into one fabulous fall weekend, Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23, 2021.
The Golden Reunion Luncheon ($35), for alumni over 50 years out, starts the festivities on Friday, October 22, 2021.
Then the Classes of 1970 and 1971 are invited to take “A Walk Down Memory Lane” (free) with fellow grad, Dave Wilson, ’71, followed by the 50th Reunion Dinner & Reception ($60).
New this year, alumni getting into town on Friday, are invited to a “Welcome Home Party” (free, with cash bar) at the Greyhound Tavern (formerly Tony’s Cantina/Larry’s) featuring live music by John Balutis, ’92.
Saturday, October 23, 2021, begins with the Bridgewater Alumni Association Annual Meeting (free), followed immediately by the Alumni Champagne Brunch ($40) in the Student Union Ballroom. Free Trolley Tours on the hour will be happening, as well as a 70s Decade Cookout at the Citizens Club ($15), until the Rathskeller Tent ($30) opens over by Swenson Field. Brian Buckley, ’91 and JD, Billy & Ken will provide live music.
Everyone heads back to the Student Union Ballroom and celebrates what is sure to be a Bears victory over Westfield State with a Bear Bash ($20) featuring the one and only Jim Plunkett with door prizes, food, cash bar and friends on tap.
Or finish out the night (and weekend) at the Homecoming After Party ($20). Bridgewater’s favorite late night entertainment destination, Barrett’s Alehouse (formerly the Wooden Nickel), will offer food, drinks and a live DJ.
Ellen Cuttle Oliver, ’82, G’89, Chief Development Officer, shares, “It’s a busy weekend with a full slate of events, but let’s face it, we have some serious catching up to do!”
Tickets range from free to a full weekend package (hotel not included) for 50th Reunion attendees (a two-day pass covering all events is $150) or grab a Day Pass for Satruday at only $85 (choose either the Bear Bash or After Party to end your day). You also have the option to purchase individual event tickets.
