SPECIAL OLYMPICS RHODE ISLAND

24 HOUR SUPER WALK

August 21 & 22, 2021

In an an effort to create awareness and raise funds for the over 4,000 athletes that participate in Special Olympics Rhode Island, on August 21 & 22, 2021 a dedicated group of Torch Run volunteers and family members representing Police, Fire, Corrections and Justice Departments will participate in a 24 Hour Super Walk through Rhode Island. They will be leaving from the Adamsville Baseball Field (6A Westport Harbor Rd.) at 8:30am on Saturday and end on Sunday at the Watch Hill Lighthouse.

Walkers will arrive at the following locations during the 24 hour event:

6 Hour – Little Compton to Portsmouth (approx. 20 miles, estimated arrival time between 2:30pm/3:00pm)

12 Hour – Little Compton to Coast Guard House in Narragansett (approx. 40 miles, estimated arrival time between 8:00pm/8:30pm)

24 Hour – Little Compton to Watch Hill (approx. 75 miles, estimated arrival time, estimated arrival time between 8:30am/9:00am)
