BLACKSTONE VALLEY TOURISM

Summer Concert Series Return — They’ll be laughing, singing and music swinging*

Quoting from the classic Motown girl group Martha and the Vandellas, “Summer’s here and the time is right, for dancing in the street!” (borrowed from Neighborworks BRV recent Levitt Amp blog).

The time is certainly right, and yes, there will be dancing in the streets, parks and neighborhoods in the Blackstone Valley this summer with the return of outdoor venues and FREE community concert series.

From our small towns like Glocester and Burrillville to the cities of Woonsocket and Pawtucket, “there’ll be music everywhere!”

Here are just a few places where you can enjoy the sounds of summer.  All you need to do is pack a blanket and/or chairs and a picnic (some venues also have food available for purchase).

Friday, July 9 @ 6 pm the Levitt Amp Woonsocket Music Series kicks off with local musician legends, Steve Smith & The Nakeds, with rising star, Lauren King, to open.  Held every Friday through September 17 (with the exception of September 3), this series offers a wide variety of music genres from around the country and locally.
