STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN MOCK ELECTION

First through eighth grade students at St. John the Evangelist School in Attleboro participated in the 2016 National Student??Mock Election though the JFK Library.??

Students in grade eight ran the Mock Election for students in grades one through six.

Each student checked in by giving their name and address, they then proceeded to a private area where they cast their ballot and received an “I Voted” sticker.

According to Christine Noreck, history teacher, “in conjunction with the Mock Election, the students participated in lessons and activities surrounding the election.

Students in grades seven and eight created political commercials and wrote editorials in support of a candidate”.
