Dear Friend,
I wanted to drop you a quick note to introduce myself and give you a glimpse of what’s to come at the Rhode Island Democratic Party. Together we are going to build a vibrant powerful party operation that helps elect Democrats up and down the ballot . I’d love to have your help.
I’ve spent the last two decades working to move Democrats, especially women and people of color, into local state and federal office. I have built two nationally recognized candidate training programs, worked on literally thousands of campaigns from President to school board in 45 states and several countries. I’ve worked with many other state parties and I know what a powerful impact they can have. I am eager to build a RIDP political operation we can all be proud of.
The leadership of the RI Democratic party is intent on building a strong operation that helps Democrats from the bottom to the top of the ticket. We have many plans for rebuilding including:
- The modernization of our Voter Action Network, including new enhancements
designed to improve accuracy and wide-spread availability.
- Implementation of a training program serving candidates seeking state and local
office including training on fundraising, crafting message, and building voter contact
programs.
- Robust campaign operations including a field team and communications team.
There is a great deal for Democrats to be proud of: Joe Biden is working his heart out for our country, Rhode Island gets to keep both its Congressional seats, vaccinations are working. Let’s work together to build a Party that we can be proud of in RI.
