RIDE: RHODE ISLAND DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

Equitable & Accessible Educational Opportunities

Last week we announced the first statewide educational access portal, EnrollRI to provide our families with a one-stop-shop of courses and opportunities to explore across Rhode Island.

Our community needs engaging, detailed, and adaptive virtual resources now more than ever and we know that families always know what’s best for their students’ educational choices. EnrollRI provides them these options and prepares them with the information they need to take advantage of it all.

Launching in a phased approach, this tool will provide detailed, data-driven family information tools and application resources for participating All Course Network (ACN) programs, Charter Public Schools, and Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs.

Each year, we will work to expand its program options and resources for Rhode Islanders.

Made possible by funding from the Dell Foundation and federal grant support and developed in collaboration with the team here at RIDE, EnrollRI aligns with the Department’s recent efforts to create new, innovative pathways for students to continue learning in ways that meet their needs.

Our collective fight for equity starts with equitable access for all parents, guardians and students. EnrollRI does just that and I’m excited to share this platform with all of you.
