PEACE DOVES
On Wednesday, September 21, St. John the Evangelist School students took part in the International Day of Peace, by hanging paper doves with messages of peace on the bushes and trees at St. John’s Church.
On the doves, the students wrote their thoughts about living in harmony with others and what peace means to them.
Peace Day was established by the United Nations in 1981, to encourage the world to work together toward the goal of worldwide peace.
