Decameron starts with our first Day of Prayer on Sunday, August 9 at 6:30 pm. Valerie Tutson of the Rhode Island Black Storytellers leads us off with a despacho prayer and burning ceremony on the lawn at the WaterFire Arts Center. Facebook event.
On Monday August 10, our first Day of Work starts at 6:30 pm with a community construction project of “Tippy Tap” hand washing stations, overseen by the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council Rangers. Facebook event.
And then from Tuesday August 11 at 6:30 pm we begin our first week of Stories. Tickets for all of these performances must be reserved in advance. Learn more about the performing artists and get tickets on our website here.
