ATTLEBORO: “LIGHT UP STURDY”

 

ATTLEBORO FIREFIGHTERS LOCAL 848 “Light Up Sturdy” Event

ATTLEBORO 04/18/20 — The Professional Firefighters of Attleboro Local 848 announce their “Light Up Sturdy” initiative to show our appreciation and thanks to Study M.H. Doctors, Nurses, and Staff for all they do on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Details: “Light up Sturdy” on Tuesday 21 April 2020 starting at 4:45 PM. 

 

Staging of apparatus from all area Fire and Police Departments on O’Neil Blvd in Attleboro at 4:45 PM with a kick off time of 4:55 PM for parade of apparatus around Sturdy Hospital; ending at Sturdy M.H. parking lot near the main entrance/auditorium approximately 20 minutes later. 

 

Lights and sirens will be on display!

 

So far we have nine area Fire and Police Departments participating. 

 

All Public Safety personnel, if outside of the apparatus, will be wearing masks in accordance with recommended practices.    

“As first responders for the City of Attleboro and surrounding communities we work side by side with Strudy M.H. on the front lines of this pandemic.,” said Paul W. Jacques, President of Attleboro Firefighters Local 848. “during these challenging times it never hurts to say Thank You to those you work with to remind each other we’re in this together.”
