Holiday School Vacation Week Special Events

Pawtucket Library(13 Summer Street) 

 

Monday-Saturday, December 23-28, 2019

 

The Pawtucket Public Library Children’s Library has a series of special events planned for school vacation.

 

On Tuesday, December 24 from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m.,

 

Preschoolers ages 3-5 with an adult caregiver are invited to the library’s Campbell Auditorium for a holiday craft, stories, music, and movement. Siblings are always welcome. 

 

On Thursday, December 26 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. have playtime fun at the library’s infant story class. Make new friends while you and your infant listen to songs and rhymes and share toys with other families.

 

Program is best suited for ages newborn to two years, but all are welcome.

 

This class also takes place in the library’s Campbell Auditorium. 

 

On Friday, December 27, the children’s library is playing Bingo for Books!

 

Come join us from 11 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to winners.

 

Program is best for children ages seven and up; younger children accompanied by an adult are welcome. 

 

On Saturday, December 28, come to the library to decorate gingerbread cookies and make cardboard tube snow people.

 

The Crafty Kids Club program will be in the library’s Campbell Auditorium from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Also on Saturday from 2:30-4:00 p.m. kids ages 7-12 are welcome to drop-in to our Lego Club!

 

Younger children are welcome with caregiver helper. 

 

Please be aware that the library will be closing at 1:15 p.m. on December 24 and is closed December 25. 

 

All programs are free and no registration is required.
