SATURDAY OCTOBER 26
The Attleboro Land Trust will hold a fall clean-up on Saturday, October 26, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Volunteers are needed to prune trails and help with other tasks. Meet at the Colman Reservation parking lot, 186 Steere Street.
Some pruning tools and work gloves will be available, but if you have your own, bring them. Volunteers with chain saws are invited to help clear some trees that are blocking trails in Vaughan Memorial Forest. Volunteers with weed whackers can help widen sections of trails that have become overgrown.
Extra wheelbarrows, shovels, and rakes would be handy for spreading woodchips on portions of the trails.
