Catch up on some fresh air and sunshine as Wickford Village Merchants hosts many fun- filled events and there is something for everyone!

WICKFORD VILLAGE, RI – The weekend of April 13 &14, 2018, Wickford Village Merchants will host its Daffodil Days.  The weekend is more than the flowers.  It is about the joy of spring and renewal.  The Shop Hop is back by popular demand after a one-year hiatus and the village merchants have been very generous with their donations!

Highlights of events include: a village wide SHOP HOP all weekend, the Easter Bunny, horse drawn carriage tours narrated by Town Historian Tim Cranston, a Roaming Railroad for kids & adults!  On Sunday, April 8 we are pleased to have Indiecycle recycling again!

“There are so many great things happening in Wickford Village during Daffodil Days! With the Easter Bunny making a visit on Saturday, local historian Tim Cranston is fresh off the viewing of “Wickford Walk” on RI PBS last weekend, Indie Cycle is back to help everyone recycle their electronics, and the Roaming Railroad is returning again.  “There is something for everyone, both kids and adults alike!  The Village is abloom with daffodils decorating the shops and the historic homes.  The whole Village comes together to create a wonderful weekend for all our visitors,” says Carrie Mitchell Kolb, Daffodil Days Event Coordinator.

All details for the weekend will be posted on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ilovewickfordvillage and on the Historic Wickford Village web page at www.wickfordvillage.org
