Recycle Old Electronics at the Weaver Library!

Recycle your old electronics at the Weaver Library on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 10 am – 1 pm in the parking lot next to the library. Hosted by Indie Cycle, LLC, a Rhode Island company that runs e-waste events throughout the state, this is a safe, green, and convenient way to recycle almost anything with a wire.
Items such as computers, laptops, TVs, monitors, flat screens, and other household electronics are accepted at no charge. Bring cell phones, cables, plugs, cords, auto/marine batteries and battery backups, audio/visual equipment, stereos, remote controls, shredders, power tools, kitchen appliances — anything with a wire — for free.
A $10 disposal fee is charged for laser-jet printers and small appliances containing Freon such as mini-fridges, air conditioners, water coolers, and dehumidifiers.

Please note that light bulbs, single use batteries, or hazardous waste materials cannot be recycled.
