The 2019 Edition of the Bilingual Art Calendar Is Now Available!
The 13 winners of the 2019 Bilingual Art Calendar were recognized on June 8, 2018 at the opening ceremony of the Rhode Island Day of Portugal Official Celebration at the Rhode Island State House.
The Bilingual Art Calendar contest is an annual activity of the IPLWS for the celebration of Day of Portugal and Portuguese Communities in Rhode Island, engaging teachers and students of Portuguese in Rhode Island’s public, private, charter and community schools in levels K-12.
- The community sponsors of the Calendar are featured in each month.
- Rhode Island College Office of College Communications and Marketing.
- The IPLWS interns: Sabrina Brum, Nelida Silva, Joshua Abreu, Bruna Carvalho.
Four hundeard and fifty Portuguese teachers and students who participated in 2018!

- The Community Advisory Board of the IPLWS each year selects themes and judges the entries.
