ATTLEBORO PUBLIC LIBRARY

Enjoy what’s NEW at the Attleboro Public Library!

18th Annual Boston Bruins PJ Drive (all month long!): The APL joins the Boston Bruins, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and other partners to support children in need by collecting brand-new pajamas, sizes birth-3 months through adult medium. A collection box will be in the lobby, and staff will wear pajamas on Feb. 7 to promote the cause.

Thank you for your help to achieve the goal of collecting 10,000 pairs of PJs! Puzzle Race: (Saturday, Feb. 15, 2-4pm):

Show your puzzle-making talent and become the next puzzle champion of the APL! Groups of 3-5 players, with at least 2 players who are ages 14 and up, receive the same puzzle of 500 pieces, and the first to finish wins! Call Darcie to register your team: (508) 222-0157.

Blind Date with a Book (all month long!): It’s back! The Blind Date with a Book display will be on the first floor, offering almost 100 wrapped dates (books) for you! Select your date from the description on its cover, then unwrap and enjoy! If it’s just an okay date, come back and select another. Fall in love many, many times!

Family Block Party (Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2-3:30pm): During school vacation week, families can play with a variety of blocks and building toys like Magna-Tiles, Lincoln Logs, and Tinker Toys! This is a drop-in session, so come any time during the 90 minutes to build and explore.

Beyond the Vision Board! (Sat., Feb. 22, 2-3:30pm): Learn new ways to manifest the life you want using goal setting and the importance of daydreaming. All attendees will create a vision board in a collage style, with encouragement from presenter and motivational speaker/coach Maria Holme.

This program is funded by the Attleboro Cultural Council. Book Groups: Visit attleborolibrary.org to learn about library book discussions or visit the Circulation Desk to see what titles are being discussed this month.

The Library works with many others to create opportunities for Attleboro residents to connect with one another.
