MAYOR DON GREBIEN

THE MAYOR’S MESSAGE

Dear Pawtucket Residents,

This past weekend, Pawtucket experienced its first significant snowfall of 2025, and I couldn’t be prouder of how our community came together to weather the storm safely and efficiently.

Our incredible Department of Public Works worked tirelessly to keep our roads clear and safe, ensuring our city stayed accessible throughout the storm. I also want to thank our Police Department for their dedication and swift response, our City’s Communications Team for keeping everyone informed and updated, and you, the residents, for your cooperation and patience as our crews worked hard to clear the snow.

I would also like to give a special shoutout to the amazing students who participated in our Snow Shoveling Program. You went above and beyond to ensure that the driveways and sidewalks of our senior residents were cleared, and your hard work is appreciated.

As we continue to experience cold winter weather, I’d like to remind everyone that the City has warming centers available for those who need a safe place to stay warm. Please take advantage of these resources if needed, and share this information with anyone who might benefit.

Once again, thank you all for coming together and making this snowstorm a smooth and safe experience for everyone.

Warm regards,

Mayor Donald Grebien
