Senator Pamela Luria and Representative Jennifer Boylan cohost “2024 Farm Visit for Legislators” with the RI Food Policy Council

BARRINGTON, RI – The Rhode Island Food Policy Council’s annual Farm Visit with Legislators – cohosted this year with Senator Pamela Luria and Representative Jennifer Boylan – will convene more than a dozen state senators, representatives, and representatives of RI’s Congressional Delegation, and food system leaders to discuss the Council’s 2025 Good Food Policy Agenda.

WHAT: A speaking presentation of RIFPC’s 2025 Good Food Policy Agenda. A learning and networking opportunity for state leaders. An optional farm tour led by the Barrington Farm School.

WHY: Rhode Islanders are becoming increasingly aware of the critical role the food system plays in the overall health and well-being of the state. RIFPC aims to acknowledge the good work being done by state legislators and other leaders, as well as raise awareness of how uniquely positioned Rhode Island is to build a healthy, resilient, and strong food system for ourselves.
